2017 Milestones

Reached over 500 million with our message to protect Hope Spots. That includes you and the many we have met in person throughout 2017.

Led 5 Hope Spot Expeditions to the Revillagigedo Archipelago, Costa Rican Dome, Cocos Island, Balearic Islands and Cabo Pulmo.

Mission Blue expeditions support awareness and action in Hope Spots.

Supported major MPA expansion efforts at Malpelo Island in Colombia, Cocos Island in Costa Rica and Revillagigedo Archipelago in Mexico.

Dr. Sylvia Earle congratulates Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto last month for creating the largest marine protected area in North America.
