October Issue of BioScience:
The October issue of BioScience and the latest "BioScience Talks" podcast, "Interdisciplinary Approaches to Wildlife Trade Management", are now available.

AIBS Visits UCLA to Offer Interdisciplinary and Team Science Training:
In October, AIBS will travel to the University of California at Los Angles to provide faculty, students, and staff with our Enabling Interdisciplinary and Team Science professional development course. AIBS also offers communications and science policy training courses that are ideal professional development programs for graduate students to senior researchers. If your organization would like to learn more about our courses or to reserve one of our programs, please contact Robert Gropp at rgropp@aibs.org




AIBS Live on Facebook:
AIBS is live on our Facebook page, AIBSBiology, every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. eastern. Our Membership Manager, Diane Bosnjak, will be talking with AIBS staff members about our initiatives, as well as AIBS Member Organization leaders about their initiatives.

Save the Date — AIBS Council Meeting:
The 2017 meeting of the AIBS Council of Member Societies and Organizations, Engaging Policymakers: Opportunities for Biological Sciences Organizations, will be held in Washington, DC, on December 4, 2017. AIBS Council Representatives may now register for the meeting. 





AIBS at ASGSR Annual Meeting:
AIBS' James Verdier will be attending the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR) Annual Meeting this month in Seattle, WA. He will be producing a special "BioScience Talks" podcast where he will be interviewing with some participants at the meeting.
